3Accurate Information
URBYN aims to provide accurate descriptions of its services, pricing and inspection process.
Where information changes, we will update our website as soon as reasonably practicable.
Inspection reports are prepared using reasonable care, professional judgement and the observable condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection.
Customers may reasonably rely on the information published by URBYN regarding its services, pricing and inspection process, subject to these policies and applicable law.
4Pricing
All prices displayed on the URBYN website are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).
Customers will be informed of the applicable inspection fee before completing payment.
No additional charges will be applied unless agreed in advance.
5Bookings and Payments
Bookings are confirmed only after:
- •Full payment has been received; and
- •URBYN has confirmed the inspection arrangement.
Payment terms and cancellation provisions are governed by URBYN's Booking Terms & Conditions.
6Quality of Service
URBYN undertakes to perform inspections with reasonable care, skill and diligence.
Vehicle inspections are conducted in accordance with the published URBYN Principles, which define our inspection methodology and professional standards.
As inspections are based on observable vehicle condition, no inspection can identify every hidden, developing or intermittent fault.
Where aspects of the inspection cannot reasonably be completed due to restricted access, safety concerns or circumstances beyond URBYN's control, those limitations will be clearly recorded in the inspection report.
7Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are handled fairly and in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act and URBYN's Booking Terms & Conditions.
Where a refund is due, it will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
8Customer Responsibilities
To help us provide the best possible service, customers should:
- •Provide accurate booking information.
- •Ensure they have authority to request an inspection.
- •Cooperate with reasonable scheduling requests.
- •Notify URBYN promptly of any changes affecting the booking.
Where access to a vehicle depends on a third party, customers acknowledge that delays or restrictions outside URBYN's control may affect the inspection.
9Inspection Reports
Inspection reports represent URBYN's professional opinion based on the observable condition of the vehicle at the date and time the inspection is completed. Reports are intended to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
They are not:
- •Mechanical warranties.
- •Guarantees of future reliability.
- •Roadworthy certificates.
- •Insurance assessments.
- •Manufacturer certifications.
Vehicle condition may change immediately after the inspection due to use, repairs, accidents, environmental exposure or other circumstances beyond URBYN's control. Customers requiring an updated assessment are encouraged to arrange a follow-up inspection.

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible.
URBYN aims to acknowledge complaints promptly and investigate them fairly, objectively and in good faith.
Where appropriate, URBYN may seek to resolve disputes through discussion, mediation or any other dispute-resolution process available under South African law before legal proceedings are pursued.
Customers are encouraged to provide sufficient detail and any supporting documentation to assist URBYN in investigating a complaint.
Complaints may be submitted to:
Email: info@urbyn.co.za
Telephone: +27 69 055 1241
Where a complaint cannot be resolved directly, consumers retain any rights available to them under the Consumer Protection Act.

- •Make false or misleading representations.
- •Conceal material information about its services.
- •Advertise services it does not intend to provide.
- •Charge undisclosed fees.
If an error occurs, URBYN will endeavour to correct it promptly and fairly.

13Your Rights Under the CPA

Where any provision of our policies conflicts with applicable law, the relevant legislation will prevail.
